Commanding the Narrative Newsletter 52
It has been a wild journey since many of us were thrust into the political realm in 2021-2022 in response to the draconian overreach by our out-of-control Governments.
It has been a slow grind as we have all begun to build a new political movement in Australia in our own different ways.
Mistakes have been made and lessons have been learnt, but with everything in politics - success is a long game.
At times, it feels like we are not achieving anything, or even going backwards. But when you step back and look at the big picture, we have come a long way - and the momentum is building.
From humble beginnings, Commanding the Narrative is no exception. The growth we saw in 2025 has exceeded all years prior.
It is important to celebrate success, as small gains often require mammoth effort and dedication.
Commanding the Narrative broadcast the footage of 7 events in 2025, which saw us partner with the Liberal Party, Let's Rethink Renewables and Australians for Better Government. I hosted, or was someway involved in every event, which saw our team contribute to three events in Sydney, two on the Gold Coast and one on the South Coast of NSW and the final in Adelaide.
Our Facebook followers increased by 1,683% in 2025, with our interactions up by 2,698%. This saw us reach millions of people across Australia and further across the globe.
Meanwhile, our YouTube audience increased by 174% and Spotify saw a 152% increase.
Notably, Commanding the Narrative was within the top 5 video platforms on Spotify in 2025 and our growth outpaced 86% of other shows worldwide.
As we expand our reach, I look forward to more great interviews, events and podcasts in 2026. Independent media is crucial in directing our country on the right path and correcting the false narratives and propaganda.
I hope you follow Commanding the Narrative on this journey and stick with us for the ride.
Until next week, stay active and never back down!
Many thanks,
Steven Tripp
Commanding the Narrative - BONDI TERROR - Is This the Australia We Want? Full Analysis of Bondi Shooting – CtN114:
I have said that the Bondi massacre should be a soul-searching moment for Australia, were we consider what country we want to be and what is important to our culture.
I discussed this with two insightful guests, Mark Neugebauer and Katy McCallum, with Katy providing her experience and expertise as a former police officer as she analysed the police response.
Commanding the Narrative -
2025 YEAR IN REVIEW - Top Moments & The Best & Worst Performers - CtN115:
As we did in 2024, I was joined by Adam Zahra, Richard Storch and Sam Buono to review the highs and lows of 2025 - including the Bondi massacre, the Charlie Kirk assassination, the 2025 Federal election and of course the Presidency of Donald Trump.
The four of us also gave our picks for the top 3 best and worst performers of 2025 - will you agree with our picks?
Commanding the Narrative - SECOND SINO-JAPANESE WAR - Exposing Pacific Atrocities in WWII - With Jenny Chan – CtN116:
I had the pleasure of interviewing Jenny Chan from Pacific Atrocities Education to discuss the Second Sino-Japanese War.
Jenny outlined the atrocities that the Japanese inflicted on the Chinese during the war, including the horrendous experiments conducted at Unit 731, the exploitation of comfort women and the Rape of Nanjing.
Commanding the Narrative - BERNIE FINN – The World According to Bernie - Unfiltered & Unrestricted – CtN117:
Former Victorian Member of Parliament Bernie Finn was in fine form when I interviewed him recently.
Bernie was fired up after his recent departure from Family First and he did not hold back in his feelings towards the party. Bernie also expressed his willingness to support One Nation going forward, which was the prelude to him joining the party since.
Bernie also gave his diagnosis of the Liberal Party and fired both barrels at Prime Minister Anthony Albanese - this is well worth checking out!
Commanding the Narrative - VICTORIAN FARMERS’ United Stance Against Government – With Andrew Weidemann & John Houston – CtN118:
I was joined by the Chairman of the Across Victoria Alliance, Andrew Weidemann, and the President of the Country Fire Authority (CFA) Volunteers Group, John ‘Hooter’ Houston to discuss the issues that rural people in Victoria are currently facing.
Whether it be bushfires, renewable projects or general Government incompetence, Victorians in the bush are finding it tough and this was an important discussion on the issues they face.
The Spectator Australia - Australia must be given a say on immigration:
This is my latest article that was published in the Spectator Australia. In the article I make the argument that the Australian people must set our immigration intake via a public plebiscite.
Read the article and let me know if you agree.
