Commanding the Narrative Newsletter 38
Tomorrow, Australians for Better Government will host an important event, ‘The Next Step - A Discussion On Australia’s Political Future’.
I say important because we can no longer rely on politicians to drive political, Governmental and Constitutional change and reform in this Country.
For too long, Australia’s politicians have focused on feathering their own nests, or representing the will of their political party.
We elect Members of Parliament to REPRESENT US - not to advance the political position and ambitions of their party.
Australians for Better Government aims to push back against this, with a grassroots movement of the Australian People to drive and demand reform.
Everyday Australians have the power to do this. The will of the People cannot be ignored; we need to awaken the sleeping giant.
Tomorrow we will hear from:
The Hon. John Ruddick MLC - Leader of the NSW Libertarian Party
Darren De Bortoli - Managing Director of De Bortoli Wines
Councillor Adam Zahra - Campbelltown City Councillor
Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Loughrey - Co-founder of Australians for Better Government
Steven Tripp - President of Australians for Better Government
The discussion will focus on solutions rather than focusing on identifying the problems. People are sick of talk, we know what is going wrong - what we need are solutions. Australians for Better Government does propose those solutions, which can be found here, but we also plan on holding events where people can also express their ideas, opinions and solutions.
I encourage all of you to come along tomorrow and participate in this process.
For tickets, please visit: abgfundraiser.eventbrite.com
Tickets will also be available at the door.
If you cannot make it, please consider becoming a Member of ABG by visiting: www.australiansforbetter.com/join
Until next week, stay active and never back down!
Many thanks,
Steven Tripp
Commanding the Narrative -
Australia’s constitution - its formation to now - with dr. christopher reynolds:
Dr. Christopher Reynolds was back on the show to discuss the important history and formation of the Australian Constitution.
Dr. Reynolds is one of our most well received guests and Chris was in full flight this episode.
Don’t miss this one!
Commanding the Narrative -
the next step - how we can reform australia’s political system:
Ahead of ABG’s first live event, ‘The Next Step’, I had Lieutenant Colonel, Kevin Loughrey on the show to detail reforms we could make to Australia’s political system.
This was a taste of what Australians for Better Government is proposing when it comes to reforming the structure of our Governmental system and Constitution.
The discussions with Kevin are always worth listening to!
Let’s Rethink Renewables - join now!
Let’s Rethink Renewables is pushing back against the reckless rollout of renewable energy projects across Australia.
Renewables have consequences, with destruction to our economy, environment and energy grid.
Our rural landscapes, productive farmlands and wildlife habitats are being carpeted with solar panels, while forests and bushlands are being bulldozed for wind turbines.
Once these areas are destroyed they will be UNRENEWABLE. Once they’re gone, they’re gone for good!
